Filled out my timesheet at work today and found that I worked at least a 52.5 hour week last week…
I know in the past that I’ve worked a couple of 70 or even 80 hour weeks and I have a feeling a couple of those might be coming soon but how does that compare to other folk in other jobs? How many hours a week do you work?
Grr – just found out that I’m working this weekend too!! D’oh so much for my weekend of laziness and lie-ins…

RBS is a 35 hour working week as is Scottish Widdows where Sam works.
I’ve been told that I will prob end up doing closer to 37 but that’s no prob. They have a big thing about work – life balance. They don’t like people to work huge number of hours since your productivity, motivation etc goes down.
I guess it’s kinda a City thing…

Recently I’ve managed to keep it down… but back in London I’d consistently do 60 hour weeks.
One bad patch in TKO saw a few 70 hour weeks but right now I’m at 40.

37.5 hour weeks for me James – being a contractor is great. You should get out of those investment banks – they suck the life out of you.

RBS 35 hours a week? I beg to differ, closer to 45 for us.

37.5 for me too! I guess as far as the RBS hours go, the moral of the story is dont work in London!
