Just a quick post from sunny Sri Lanka to say all is well on holiday! In fact we’re having a brilliant time.

Don’t have enough internet credit for a lengthy update but so far we’ve spent time in Colombo, been on tour to Kandy and the tea estates near Haputale before heading to the beach via Kitugala (the set for Bridge Over The River Kwai).

Blagged our way into a party last night for Miss Polaroid and Miss Beautyful Eyes(actual spelling) – even managed to walk away with two complimentary pairs of Polaroid sunglasses. Have to admit that it was my parents that smuggled us in after their kind invitation by one of the key sponsors – friends in high places!

Back to Colombo for shopping tomorrow and then back to blighty on Wednesday night – work on Thursday is gonna be rough! Especially with this sun burn!

PS: Sian passed both her exams!!!! Then promptly had a celebratory half-drowning in the sea…
