Wacky Races!

Matt and I went karting with Sumit and a bunch of others at the weekend. Had a great time and somehow I managed to steal second place behind the karting champ and organiser.
Only got a couple of photos to share I’m afraid:

The Phantom Storm Troopers…

There seem to be a squad of storm troopers wandering around outside my office today….
Has the Empire taken over? You can see if they are still there on the web-cam.

Richard Hammond seems to have had a rather nasty crash while filming for Top Gear! I hope he pulls through cos he’s great on Top Gear (although he is the most mookish of the three – but that’s probably why I like him).
Top Gear is one of the best programs on telly, I hope this doesn’t change things…

We’re up 6 places in the last month in the FIFA rankings, now we’re up to 34th!
My photos from the trip are now up too, I didn’t take too many but hopefully I’ll get a copy of Derek’s to add to them later.

I make my feelings about George W-yah known on a fairly regular basis and it seems he can’t help sub-conscientiously sharing his opinions on America with us too.
Just as well he can’t come back this time for “four more years!”.

Off to Lithuania

I’m off to Lithuania bright and early tomorrow morning (we have to be at the airport at 6.30am!). Going over with Derek to see bonnie Scotland play. Enthusiasm, morale and complacency are high after Saturday’s 6-nil win but considering Lithuania drew with Italy at the same time in Italy perhaps Scotland are again underdogs for this one too?
Well looking forward to it, will be there with the kilt on! Back at the weekend!
Slade’s been down to stay for the weekend, he was in London for a national baseball tournament and he’s heading back north today.
I’ll post more updates and photos when I get back!
