Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!

Dunno about you but I can’t get through a day at work without at least 2 cups of coffee, sometimes a lot more is required. And every so often I get dragged into a StarBucks round with the clearly better paid members of staff 
Now I know I like a latte, and I know there are a whole heap of other coffee recipes out there with weird and mysterious names but I didn’t really what makes them different from each other… Think I felt too ashamed to ask too!
Anyways found this diagram today while surfing the web while munching my sandwich (honest boss!):
It was too good not to share! Anyone else been too scared to ask the difference between them all? Sadly there’s no place on the sheet for an Orange Mocha Frappucino!
Gmail & The Bank Holiday Weekend

What great weather this weekend in London, shame I didn’t really make the most of it. Did have a great dinner and cocktails out with Matt and Gloria at the Elephant Royale, a great Thai restaurant near the flat. Also went to see the Bourne Ultimatum last night, thought it was really good – very clever and funny in parts too.
In other news, my new camera has arrived so you’ve been warned that more photos will start appearing here and on flickr soon!
Anyone else really frustrated that they can’t access their personal emails from work or even their phone? I’ve installed a bit of software here that will allow anyone to access their gmail/googlemail accounts if they can’t get in the normal way. Feel free to use it if you need to.
NB: I didn’t write the software but I do trust it (after looking at the code) and I’ve been using it myself for over a year. It also has some bugs (sometimes if fails to send mails) but at least you can read your mails on the go and at work.

Prince at the O2 – 2 tickets – 1st Sept 2007

Update: That was quick! They are sold…
I have two tickets for sale for Prince at the O2 Arena (aka the Dome) for Saturday the 1st of September 2007. Doors at 6pm. The tickets cost me £35 each and have arrived already so I can exchange them with you right away.
Seats are in the lower tier, block 107, row B.
NB: You get a free CD after the gig with his latest album and reviews for the tour so far have been excellent! (I’m going another night).

Ok, decided to be brave (and cheap) so I’ve started to move some of my older photos to flickr… So what does this mean? Well the affected galleries are still listed on the site, but when you click on the photo or the link then it’ll take you to flickr to view the photos.
This means I can clear some space here for new photos (once I have a camera again)! Ok, here are the first set of migrated galleries.
Please continue to use the website as normal but if you spot any bugs then PLEASE email me or leave a note in the guestbook!

To Flickr or not to Flickr

So I’ve run out of webspace here at dancingwithloons, so I have a couple of choices… fork out quite a lot of cash to get more storage or move all my photos to flickr and link to them from here.
So I need to know if you guys can access flickr from where ever you are accessing this site!

Hoots Man!

Scotland trip is going well, I’m absolutely shattered already but its been great to see everyone and give my liver a thorough fitness test before T in the Park tomorrow!
Oz’s wedding was excellent and I have some great photos (and Wii videos) to share when I get back. Also had great trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow to see as many as I could and loved every minute of it. Big thanks to Nikki, Sheila, Dunn, Nev, Sam,Vicki and Beath for making a Purves sized space on their sofa-beds, floors, inflatable beds and futons – much appreciated!
Down in Largs now sorting out my parents flat and mail – all’s well and I needed a break to catch-up on lost sleep and get my thoughts together. Also watched a hell of a lot of House, 12 episodes down and 10 to go of the first series – thanks to Linus and Kristina for the lend!
Been bombing around in a Nissan Note for the week thanks to a free double-upgrade from the people at Alamo – surely it must be some mistake – I only hired a Ka…
Sad News

Its been announced on facebook by both of us so I guess its OK to share the news here as well… Sian and I have broken up. Not much more to say really…
In other news I’m coming up to Scotland again for Oz’s wedding and T in the Park!
